Contact

This is a one-person site, so messages reach Trace Bailey directly. Corrections and accessibility problems get dealt with first.

Email

There is no contact form, because a form would mean collecting your details on a site whose whole premise is that it does not. Email works and leaves you in control of what you send.

Report an error

Something factually wrong, a calculator returning a bad number, or an out-of-date rate. These are treated as the highest priority and the fix is logged publicly in the changelog with the date.

Report an accessibility barrier

If something stops you completing a task with a keyboard, a screen reader, or magnification, that is a bug of the same severity as a wrong number. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what you use.

Everything else

Feedback, a tool you wish existed, or a question. All welcome. Expect a reply within a few days; this is not staffed around the clock.

What to include for a bug report

  • The page address.
  • Which tool, and what you entered (feel free to substitute made-up figures).
  • What you expected, and what actually happened.
  • Your browser and device.

What we cannot do

We cannot recover your work. Drafts live only in your own browser's local storage and are never sent to us, so there is no copy anywhere for us to retrieve. If a draft is gone — cleared browser data, a different device, private browsing — it is gone. Export or download anything you want to keep, as you go.

We cannot review your resume or give individual career advice. There is one person here and no capacity for it. The guides and the resume checker are the honest substitute.

We cannot give tax, legal, or employment advice. The pay calculators estimate figures and state their assumptions; they are not a substitute for a CPA or an employment lawyer, particularly for anything involving a severance agreement or a worker classification question.
